Position Summary
The Sales Commissions & Rebates Coordinator supports the accurate processing, tracking, and reporting of sales commissions, rebates, and distributor programs. This role executes established procedures, prepares monthly reports, validates transactions, and works closely with Accounting and Sales to ensure accuracy and timely reporting.
This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong Excel skills who is comfortable working with structured processes and escalating exceptions as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Commissions & Sales Reporting
- Prepare monthly sales and commission reports using ERP and Excel
- Validate invoice, credit, and payment data for commission accuracy
- Apply established commission rules and flag exceptions for review
- Maintain commission tracking files and documentation
- Distribute commission reports to sales representatives after approval
Rebates & Distributor Programs
- Review distributor rebate reports and supporting documentation
- Validate eligibility based on existing contracts and guidelines
- Prepare rebate credit documentation for Accounting
- Track rebate payment schedules and maintain supporting files
Data & System Support
- Run standard ERP reports and SmartLists
- Maintain structured file organization for Finance reporting
- Support month-end and quarter-end reporting deadlines
Coordination & Communication
- Work with Accounting, Sales Admins, and Sales Management to research discrepancies
- Escalate unusual or unclear situations for review and approval
- Maintain clear notes and audit trails in reports and internal systems
Qualifications
Required
- 2–4 years experience in accounting support, commissions, rebates, or sales operations
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas)
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to follow established procedures and meet deadlines
- Professional written communication skills
Preferred
- Experience with ERP systems (Great Plains, SalesPad, or similar)
- Experience supporting sales or distributor programs
- Exposure to commission or rebate processing

Pay: $50, $60,000.00 per year
