About This Role
Bon Aqua Childcare Center in Lyles, Tennessee is seeking a dedicated preschool teacher to join our team. The full-time position requires a 40-hour workweek, with a 10-hour shift over four days. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a positive team atmosphere and ensuring a stimulating learning environment for children aged 3-5 years. The teacher must possess excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with both children and adults. Key qualities include a passion for education, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to continuously learn and grow.
What You'll Do
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work well with others, including staff, children, and parents.
- High energy and a strong team environment.
- Optional qualifications include a high school diploma, early childhood training, or a related degree.
- Additional certifications or training in child development, preschool specialization, or CPR/First Aid can be beneficial but are not required.
Requirements
- Must clear full background check and pass health screening.
- A strong understanding of child development.
- Active engagement, attentiveness, physical ability to move, sit, squat, bend, & crawl.
- Work a 10 hour shift: 7-5, or 7:30-5:30, or 6:30-4:30.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification OR willingness to complete upon employment.
Nice to Have
1 or more year(s) experience in a full-time preschool classroom position.
Any specific training or qualifications that make you an excellent candidate for this position would be highly valued.
