The Culinary Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing multiple dining service operations across assigned locations. This role ensures high-quality service, operational efficiency, and achievement of financial goals. The position requires strong leadership, financial management, and a commitment to delivering an excellent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee daily operations across multiple foodservice locations
• Ensure all service, safety, and operational standards are consistently met
• Manage financial performance including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
• Lead, develop, and support management teams across locations
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company, regulatory, and safety standards
• Drive operational efficiency, cost control, and service excellence
• Build strong relationships with clients, customers, and internal teams
• Lead hiring, training, and development of management staff
• Conduct regular team and performance meetings
• Identify operational challenges and implement effective solutions
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Food Service Management or related field, or equivalent experience
• 5 years of foodservice management experience, including multi-unit oversight
• Strong knowledge of food trends, quality standards, sanitation, and cost controls
• Experience managing P&L and contract-managed foodservice operations
• Background in retail dining and/or catering operations
• Proven leadership, coaching, and team development skills
• Strong communication skills across all organizational levels
• Knowledge of budgeting, financial reporting, and operational metrics
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard business systems
• Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification preferred
