Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers and addressing their needs promptly.
- Operate Point of Sale (POS) systems efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
- Assist in merchandising products to enhance store displays and promote sales.
- Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits.
- Supervise and train new associates, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Engage in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities.
- Maintain accurate stock levels through effective stocking practices and inventory management.
- Utilize basic math skills to ensure accurate pricing and transactions.
- Uphold phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries over the phone.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations within the grocery store setting.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail clothing sales or customer service is preferred.
- Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership capabilities.
