Certified Plumber Technician

Job Summary
PAY BASED UPON EXPIERENCE!! We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our construction and remodeling team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing systems, construction site experience, and mechanical knowledge. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in various commercial and residential projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards and blueprints. The Plumber will work closely with other trades such as carpentry and HVAC to deliver high-quality results on time and within budget.

Duties

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in new construction, remodels, and repairs
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation
• Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques to complete tasks efficiently
• Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment as needed on construction sites
• Conduct troubleshooting of plumbing issues using mechanical knowledge and diagnostic skills
• Collaborate with other trades such as carpentry and HVAC to coordinate project timelines
• Ensure all work complies with building codes, safety regulations, and project specifications
• Assist in remodeling projects by performing related tasks such as assembly or maintenance person repairs
• Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to safety protocols throughout all phases of work

Skills

• Proven experience in construction plumbing, pipe threading, welding, and the use of hand tools and power tools
• Strong understanding of blueprints, schematics, HVAC systems, and mechanical principles
• Ability to read technical drawings accurately and interpret schematics for installation purposes
• Knowledge of construction site safety procedures and OSHA standards
• Physical ability for heavy lifting, prolonged standing, climbing ladders or scaffolding, and working in confined spaces
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to pipe fitting and layout
• Experience with remodeling projects or carpentry is a plus
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or experience driving commercial vehicles is advantageous
• Maintenance Person experience or general assembly skills are beneficial for versatile task completion

Pay: $15.00 - $33.00 per hour
