What are your contributions to the team?
- Investigate design build issues and develop structural engineering installation solutions
- Author temporary engineering to resolve build issues in a timely manner
- Learn about dispositioning aircraft non-conformances including rework instructions
- Perform aircraft and engineering drawing investigation and coordination with affected engineering disciplines, Quality Assurance and operations manufacturing representatives
- Help design Flight Test engineering change requests and coordinate with work package owners
- Author engineering to define structural special instructions or restrictions
- You must be working toward a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering or a related discipline
- You must be in your Junior (3rd) year
- You have a GPA of 3.0 or higher
- You must have taken an introductory to CATIA V5 class or equivalent (Solid Works, etc.)
- You must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- You must be a highly motivated, self-starter
- You must have proficiency with MS Office tools, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. All other computer systems and software are a plus
- You must be eligible to receive ITAR clearance (US Citizen or Green Card holder)
- Any aircraft or manufacturing experience is an asset
