What are your contributions to the team?
- Investigate design build issues and analyze structural engineering and instrumentation installation solutions
- Analyze temporary engineering to resolve build issues in a timely manner
- Learn about dispositioning aircraft non-conformances including rework instructions. (MRB)
- Perform aircraft and engineering drawing investigation and coordination with affected engineering disciplines, Quality Assurance and operations manufacturing representatives.
- Help design Flight Test engineering change requests and coordinate with work package owners
- Analyze engineering to define structural special instructions or restrictions.
- You must be able to work on ITAR programs.
- You must be working toward a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering or a related discipline.
- You must be in your Junior (3rd) year.
- You must have taken an introductory to CATIA V5 class or equivalent.
- You must have taken Structures 1.
- You must have a basic understanding of FEMs. NASTRAN/PATRAN and other software are a plus.
- You must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- You must be a highly motivated, self-starter.
- You must have proficiency with MS Office tools, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. All other computer systems and software are a plus.
- Any aircraft or manufacturing experience is an asset.
