What are the responsibilities and job description for the TEST & TRIALS WORKER-B position at Bollinger Shipyards?
GENERAL FUNCTION: Implements testing of all vessel equipment and systems, up to and including sea trials, in compliance with customer requirements.

Conducts and completes all testing and sea trials prior to acceptance, by the customer. Responds to all inquiries of customers, and agents of regulatory bodies concerning vessel testing.
Maintains current documents of testing for all projects. Submits standard and special status reports as assigned.
Addresses deficiencies evidenced as a result of testing and works with Company engineers to correct deficiencies.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: Considerable knowledge of shipbuilding processes and industry standards and regulations. Good knowledge of testing equipment and measuring devices and the ability to instruct inspectors on their proper operation. Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications and develop sound, thorough inspection programs. Ability to effectively supervise and to interface effectively with customers, management and employees in all areas within the division.
EXPERIENCE & TRAINING: 1 year experience in quality assurance duties or any equivalent combination of experience and training which results in the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
