Job Summary: The HSE Representative will be responsible for HSE inspections, hazard recognition, performing HSE meetings, record keeping.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in monitoring the facility’s machinery, equipment, and overall working conditions to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and assist with testing equipment to identify potential hazards.
- Support the development and implementation of safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate safety records and reports as required.
- Perform other duties related to maintaining a safe work environment as directed.
- Conducts safety orientation for new hires with respect to safety rules and procedures.
- Assists with safety meetings and trainings.
- Working experience within an industrial or manufacturing setting with shipyard experience.
- 3 months of working experience in the HSE field a plus
- Must be highly motivated and proficient in using MS office applications (MS Excel, MS Word, etc.).
- Oracle experience is a plus.
- Good communication skills including written and oral communications.
- Basic knowledge of safety techniques and first aid is a plus.
- EMT, First Responder and First Aid Training is a plus.
