Job Title: 1st Class Shipfitter

Location: Harvey, LA

Job Summary

We are seeking experienced Shipfitters to join our team in Harvey, LA. The ideal candidates must have at least 6 months of shipfitting experience and demonstrate proficiency in structural fitting processes. Successful candidates must also pass a hands-on craft test to verify their skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform accurate layout and cutting using a torch.
• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and templates for structural fitting.
• Utilize metric measuring systems (cm, mm, etc.) with precision.
• Ensure quality craftsmanship in structural fitting processes.
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of shipfitting experience.
• Ability to demonstrate technical skills during a hands-on craft test.
• Strong knowledge of layout, cutting, and metric measurement techniques.
• Proficiency in reading and understanding blueprints, sketches, and templates.
