The role involves client intake, scheduling, office management and organization, and general litigation support for three lawyers devoted to justice for individuals in employment and civil rights cases.
The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, good organizational skills, and a sense of initiative. The ability to communicate effectively, efficiently, and compassionately with people who are under stress is critical.
Duties
- Client intake multiple times daily.
- Scheduling/calendaring.
- Office organization.
- Proofreading.
- Litigation support.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a law office or legal administrative role strongly preferred.
- Basic knowledge of employment law or experience in a plaintiff-side civl practice preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
- Strong communication skills and ability to handle stressful calls from potential clients.
- Strong attention to detail.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
