Travel Speech Language Pathologist - Full-Time

Role: The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) evaluates, diagnoses, and treats communication and swallowing disorders across diverse patient populations, developing personalized, evidence-based treatment plans to improve speech, language, and cognitive-communication skills.

Responsibilities Include

• Conducting assessments using standardized tools and clinical observation.
• Designing and adjusting individualized therapy programs.
• Monitoring patient progress and maintaining accurate documentation.
• Educating patients and caregivers on communication strategies and safe swallowing practices.
• Collaborating with healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive care.
• Ensuring a safe environment by adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
• Participating in quality assurance and professional development activities.
• Performing additional duties within scope of practice as assigned.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Valid state licensure and current BLS certification.
• Master’s Degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology preferred; CCC-SLP certification is a plus.
• Excellent critical thinking, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in PC use, ability to follow instructions, and physical ability to assist with equipment and patient mobility.
• Strong mental resilience to manage pressure and irregular activities.
• Effective sensory perception, including visual acuity.
