- Developing and implementing individualized care plans for women and newborns based on health data analysis.
- Coordinating holistic, family-centered care while employing health education strategies within scope of practice.
- Evaluating patient outcomes, making ethical decisions, and practicing cultural competence.
- Collaborating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure safe, quality care.
- Serving as a role model, mentor, and change agent, maintaining current evidence-based practice and quality improvement initiatives.
- Assessing nursing practices, incorporating scientific knowledge, and ensuring resource-efficient, environmentally safe care.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent.
- Active RN license in applicable states, with relevant certifications such as BLS, ALS, PALS, or NRP.
- Physical ability to perform frequent standing, walking, lifting, and communication tasks.
