Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with leadership and committees to address patient complaints, grievances, and safety concerns.
- Assist in developing and evaluating the Hospital Risk Management Program, including clinical risk assessments and incident analysis.
- Investigate quality of care concerns and incidents, making adjustments to patient accounts and handling liability issues.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies such as TJC, OSHA, FDA, and Medicaid/Medicare.
- Disseminate regulatory updates, assist in Code 15 investigations, and maintain risk management education.
- Support clinical and administrative committees in resolving peer review and quality issues.
- Analyze patient data and feedback to guide process improvements and staff education.
- RN license with a diploma required; Bachelor's degree or extensive experience preferred.
- At least 2 years of clinical and/or risk management experience.
- Certification in Patient Safety (CPPS) or Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) within one year of hire preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
