Position Overview
- Supervise and coordinate unit staffing, providing leadership to ensure clinical objectives and quality patient care are met.
- Assign, educate, monitor nursing and support staff during shifts, and contribute to performance evaluations.
- Assess daily patient care needs, develop and distribute care assignments, and evaluate care effectiveness.
- Address patient care complaints and manage through established channels.
- Contribute to hiring, training, and staff development processes.
- Current RN licensure by the Alabama Board of Nursing.
- BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire, accepted from American Heart Association or Red Cross.
- Diploma from an accredited nursing school with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
