Position Overview
- Provide direct nursing care according to organizational policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Implement, monitor, and communicate patient care plans and assess patient conditions.
- Serve as a primary coordinator among healthcare disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
- Follow physician and nursing orders accurately.
- Assess and coordinate discharge planning with healthcare team members.
- Current or eligible RN licensure by the Alabama Board of Nursing.
- BLS certification within 1 month of hire, from AHA or Red Cross.
- Diploma from an accredited nursing school and professional licensure at time of hire.
- Work in various shifts, including full-time days, nights, or weekend-only days.
