Registered Nurse - General Medicine

Role: Responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a general medicine setting, collaborating with healthcare teams to provide personalized and compassionate treatment.

Key Duties

• Assess patient conditions upon admission and throughout shifts, identifying changes promptly.
• Perform procedures, monitor patient responses, administer medications, and document care accurately.
• Respond promptly to patient needs, educate patients and families about medical conditions, treatments, and follow-up care.
• Act as an advocate for patients, ensuring positive clinical outcomes and adherence to standards of practice.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Associated Degree in Nursing.
• Current RN licensure with the North Carolina Board of Nursing; eNLC license may apply.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification.
• At least one year of nursing experience; national certification in area of specialty preferred.
