- Educate patients about procedures and maintain confidentiality.
- Select appropriate equipment, set technical factors, and follow protocols while adhering to radiation safety standards, including the use of protective gear.
- Gather and document patient history to aid image interpretation.
- Perform quality assessments on images, identify equipment issues, and escalate concerns as needed.
- Graduate of a Radiologic Technology program.
- Registered Technologist Radiography (ARRT) certification.
- Basic Life Support (CPR) certification.
- Medical Radiographer certification (NE).
