The Nurse Manager is responsible for assisting the Chief Nursing Officer in delivering safe, quality, and cost-effective patient care by ensuring competent staffing and optimal resource utilization.
- Oversees clinical operations, promotes efficient workflows, and helps meet productivity and financial goals.
- Collaborates with physicians and staff across departments to enhance communication and improve processes.
- Maintains compliance with licensure requirements and ensures staff certifications such as BLS, ACLS, and PALS are current.
- Requires a registered nurse license, a BSN (preferred), and a minimum of three years of nursing experience, including leadership or management roles.
- Demonstrates strong human relations, communication skills, and clinical expertise in their specialty area.
- Supports a patient-centered environment and promotes staff development and team collaboration.
