- Operate MRI systems, select appropriate protocols, and obtain high-quality images.
- Position patients, administer contrast agents, and ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Evaluate patient information, verify identity, and explain procedures.
- Participate in training, onboarding, and supervision of students and new staff.
- Perform quality assurance and maintenance duties, troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Collaborate with other departments and contribute to performance improvement projects.
- ARMRIT or ARRT MRI registry certification; state licensure preferred.
- 1 year hospital MRI experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, organization, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, safety standards, and patient care procedures.
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EPIC) and PACS systems preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to adapt to changing workloads and maintain confidentiality.
