Summary of LPN, CH Nephrology Role
Role: Provides direct and indirect patient care under supervision within a team-based environment, supporting self-management, self-efficacy, and care coordination for a specialized patient population.
Responsibilities: Conducts patient assessments, develops and evaluates care plans, administers medications, performs procedures, and documents care according to standards. Supports quality improvement and performance evaluation processes.
Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited LPN program, current licensure in Tennessee, BLS certification, and knowledge of nursing principles, growth and development, and medication management. Pediatric experience and PALS certification are preferred.
Skills: Effective communication, ability to assess patient needs, operate clinical equipment, and provide age-appropriate care. Demonstrates professionalism, courtesy, and the capacity to interpret clinical data and respond appropriately.
