- Collaborate with primary care physicians to deliver quality patient care
- Review and update patient health records, verify diagnostic tests and reports
- Measure vital signs including pulse, respiration, blood pressure, weight, and height
- Prepare treatment rooms for examinations
- Provide respectful customer service, greet patients and community
- Perform clerical duties such as checking inventory, tracking referrals, and answering phones
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly
- Perform other assigned duties
- High School Degree or GED
- Active Medical Assisting certification (e.g., CMA, RMA, CCMA, NRCMA, NCMA, NCCT); Assessment-Based Recognition in Order Entry acceptable in some cases
- BLS certification (preferred or required based on location)
- One year healthcare experience (preferred)
- Two years clerical experience (preferred)
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills
- Professional interaction with staff and patients
