- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to adults with cardiac and complex conditions transitioning from intensive care.
- Perform ongoing patient assessments and monitor telemetry and medications.
- Carry out provider-ordered treatments and respond promptly to changes in patient status.
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge instructions.
- Accurately document patient information and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe recovery and optimal clinical outcomes.
- Current RN license with relevant experience in cardiac or step-down care preferred.
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and respond to changing patient needs.
