Position Duties and Responsibilities:
Prospecting and Pipeline Development
- Develop, manage, and advance a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities across the full business development lifecycle, in close coordination with marketing, client strategy, technology, and executive leadership teams
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within target verticals
- Conduct structured research on prospective organizations to understand business models, CX challenges, technology ecosystem, and growth priorities
- Establish and maintain relationships with senior decision makers, influencers, and operational leaders to uncover needs and position Bold Orange as a trusted partner
- Lead discovery conversations that translate client challenges into well-defined opportunities aligned with Bold Orange’s services and capabilities
- Prepare and deliver clear, well-structured presentations, proposals, and statements of work that articulate value, differentiation, and outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of opportunity activity, pipeline status, and forecast data within the company’s Salesforce CRM and reporting systems
- Support the discovery and definition of partner motions for a select set of emerging technology/data platform partners (e.g., Braze, Movable Ink, Snowflake, etc.) whose solutions complement Bold Orange’s customer experience and data offerings
- Collaborate with partner teams to uncover co-selling opportunities, align on account strategies, and jointly pursue qualified prospects
- Contribute to BOCO’s definition and execution of partnership strategies across near-term and longer-term
- Represent Bold Orange in partner-facing meetings, events, and planning sessions with professionalism and strategic clarity
- Support the strategic growth team by contributing to prospect-facing materials, including sales presentations, service offerings, and partner collateral
- Collaborate with marketing leadership on campaigns, events, and initiatives that support pipeline development and brand visibility
- Provide market and prospect feedback to internal teams to inform service offerings, messaging, and positioning
- Participate in continuous improvement of business development processes, tools, and operating rhythms
- Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience required
- 7 years of experience successfully closing strategic services-based deals for a digital agency, systems integrator, or consultancy
- Outstanding listening skills, candidate must be able to listen for client challenges and develop insights into winning strategies
- A self-starter with a high attention to detail and an ability to manage and execute many priorities simultaneously
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills—candidate must be able to craft persuasive and polished proposal copy and written communications with a keen eye for details
- Must be authentic, disciplined, and persuasive, and comfortable presenting to an executive-level audience in marketing and technology
- Have a sense of urgency with strong organizational and follow-up skills
- Excellent collaboration and problem-solving skills
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas
- Highly proficient in MS PowerPoint and the Office suite
- Experience with sales platforms such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Apollo.io
