Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Assembly Tech to join our dynamic team, building electrical control panels. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling components for control panels in preparation for wiring in an efficient and organized manner, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the manufacturing process. This role requires a understanding of some mechanical assembly techniques including drilling and tapping, as well as the ability to work with various tools and equipment.
Duties
- Assemble and install components on back plates and enclosures according to schematics and engineering specifications.
- Perform labeling, and crimping of connectors and terminals.
- Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment effectively during the assembly process.
Skills
- Strong understanding of panel assembly and electrical wiring principles.
- Experience in manufacturing environments with a focus on assembly processes.
- Mechanical knowledge to assist in troubleshooting and repairs.
- Familiarity with hand tools, calipers, and power tools used in electrical assembly.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics accurately is preferred
- Electrical experience is highly desirable for this role.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
