Bold Construction is a family-owned residential remodeling company specializing in kitchens, bathrooms, and finished basements. We are growing and looking for an experienced remodel carpenter who takes pride in craftsmanship, communicates professionally with homeowners, and wants to be part of a team that values quality over shortcuts.

We are not looking for a handyman or someone who has only worked in new construction. We need someone who can confidently complete residential remodeling projects with minimal supervision.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll work on complete residential remodeling projects including:

• Kitchen remodels
• Bathroom remodels
• Basement finishing
• Structural modifications
• Finish carpentry
• Cabinet installation
• Tile installation
• Flooring
• Drywall installation and finishing
• Trim, doors, and hardware
• Punch list completion

You should be comfortable taking a room from demolition through the finishing details while maintaining a clean, organized job site.

You Must Be Able To

✔ Install kitchen cabinets level and plumb

✔ Install interior doors and trim with tight joints

✔ Hang and finish drywall

✔ Install LVP, engineered hardwood, and tile flooring

✔ Build and tile showers

✔ Read plans and follow project specifications

✔ Solve problems without constant supervision

✔ Maintain a professional appearance and communicate respectfully with homeowners

✔ Upload daily job logs and progress photos

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of residential remodeling experience
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Reliable transportation
• Own professional hand tools
• Able to lift 75 lbs., climb ladders, kneel, bend, and work overhead throughout the day
• Able to pass a background check

Preferred Experience

Experience with any of the following is a plus:

• Schluter shower systems
• Structural framing
• Beam installation
• Custom trim work
• Crown molding
• Built-ins
• Cabinet modifications
• Reading blueprints
• Material takeoffs
