Job Summary
The Mobile Food Truck Leader is responsible for overseeing daily operations of a Bojangles food truck, ensuring exceptional customer service, high-quality food preparation, and efficient team performance. This leadership role requires strong organizational skills, hands-on management, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, mobile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead food truck team members during daily operations
- Ensure all food is prepared and served according to Bojangles brand standards
- Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve customer concerns promptly
- Manage opening and closing procedures, including setup and breakdown
- Oversee cash handling, POS transactions, and daily sales reporting
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of the truck at all times
- Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and manage product rotation
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and local food service regulations
- Train, coach, and evaluate team members to maintain high performance
Operational & Driving Duties
- Safely operate and transport the food truck to scheduled locations and events
- Plan and coordinate daily routes, schedules, and event logistics
- Conduct routine vehicle and equipment checks to ensure safe operation
- Communicate with management regarding performance, inventory, and staffing needs
Qualifications
- Previous leadery or leadership experience in food service or retail preferred
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible schedule (including evenings, weekends, and special events)
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record (required)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
