Role Description
The Development Operations & Patron Services Coordinator plays a dual role at the Boise Philharmonic, supporting both fundraising operations and patron experience. This position ensures the seamless integration of donor stewardship, ticketing services, and customer engagement across the full patron life-cycle—from first interaction to long-term loyalty. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate donor and patron data, processing gifts, subscriptions, and ticket sales, delivering high-quality customer service, and supporting development initiatives. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, systems-driven, and passionate about delivering exceptional experiences while advancing the organization’s fundraising and earned revenue goals. This full-time position (40 hours/week) requires flexible day, evening, and weekend availability based on the BP performance and event calendar.
Development Operations & Stewardship
- Deliver personalized support to subscribers, donors, and single-ticket buyers to ensure satisfaction, retention, and long-term loyalty.
- Maintain and oversee the donor database (CRM), ensuring accuracy, integrity, and proper segmentation.
- Track donor giving history, pledges, and engagement activity.
- Clearly communicate donor level, pricing, and benefit options with accuracy and professionalism.
- Process charitable contributions from all sources (online, mail, events, in-person).
- Generate and send donor acknowledgments and tax receipts promptly.
- Maintain donor recognition and event guest lists and support stewardship efforts.
- Assist in the creation of donor impact reports and campaign materials.
- Reconcile donation records with the finance staff.
Goal: All gifts processed within 48 hours; acknowledgments sent within three business days.
Patron Services & Ticketing
- Serve as a primary point of contact for patrons across phone, email, online, and in-person channels.
- Process ticket sales, subscriptions, exchanges, group sales, and donations via Spektrix.
- Guide patrons through purchase decisions, seating options, and ticket access.
- Manage patron accounts and ensure accurate, complete data entry.
- Configure ticketing promotions, pricing structures, and discount codes.
- Resolve service issues and document interactions to improve future experiences.
- Support subscription campaigns, renewals, and retention initiatives.
- Capture and communicate patron feedback and purchasing trends to enhance retention and lifetime value.
- Assist with subscription campaigns, renewals, and life-cycle communications.
- Contribute to continuous improvements that elevate the overall patron experience and operational efficiency.
- Monitor trends in patron behavior and donor activity to inform strategy.
- Provide on-site patron service and box office support during performances. Assist with development and fundraising events, including guest lists and RSVP tracking.
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in customer service, nonprofit operations, ticketing, or fundraising.
- Experience with CRM or ticketing systems (Spektrix preferred).
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfort with data entry (60 WPM preferred) and working across multiple systems.
- An analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and trends.
- Skilled at building positive relationships with diverse patrons, donors, and colleagues.
- Demonstrates integrity, reliability, and accountability; works effectively both independently and collaboratively.
- Passion for the performing arts or nonprofit sector preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience required.
Compensation
$40,000-$43,000 per year, full-time, salaried position with benefits.
(full-time, approximately 40 hours/week, availability select evenings and weekends.)

Schedule & Work Environment
Full-time, on-site position based in Boise, Idaho. Schedule includes standard business hours, 9:00 am. - 5:00 pm, plus evenings and weekends aligned with concert and event schedules. Flex time allowed for evening and weekend time worked.
