Position Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Powder Coater / Sandblaster to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with the Powder coating supervisor to ensure that all jobs are completed to our quality standards in a timely manner. You will be responsible for prepping material for the powder coat process, sandblasting, applying powder coat, moving material around, and packaging finished products.

Key Responsibilities:

· Demonstrate a hands-on attitude with acute attention to detail.

· Flexibility to work a varying schedule as required by production demands.

· Lift and carry up to 50 pounds as necessary.

· Cleaning of Powder Coating booth and powder guns at the end of shift or during paint changes.

· Inspect material from fabrication shop for successful application.

· Determine flow and coating quality by performing visual inspections.

· Bake parts at appropriate temperatures within time limitations.

· Maintain high standards of quality control throughout the powder coating process.

· Work efficiently under pressure and manage short lead times effectively.

Qualifications:

· Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a commitment to quality.

· Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

· Attention to detail and a focus on producing high-quality work.

· Ability to use a respirator for prolonged periods of time.

· Physical ability to perform job duties, including lifting up to 50 pounds.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour (D.O.E)

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
