Basic Qualifications:
Must have basic trouble shooting skills, ability to work under pressure, work well with others, self-motivated. Must have forklift experience in a production environment and basic maintenance skills. Strong commitment to safety. Willingness to work swing and graveyard shifts.
Preferred Qualifications:
Boiler experience. Hog fueled boiler experience is a plus. Loader experience preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Tending the boiler
- Monitoring kilns
- Loading/unloading kilns
- Loading/unloading kiln charges
- Record keeping
- Environmental reporting
- Clean up at boiler and kilns
- Cleaning fuel cells
- Boiler water tests
- Working during boiler shutdowns
- Doing minor repairs at the boiler and kilns
