Role Description The Sales Engineer is a full-time role based in the Charlotte Metro area. This role is responsible for identifying customer needs, proposing boiler and industrial solutions, and supporting the sales process from initial contact through installation and follow-up. Day-to-day activities include meeting with prospective and existing customers, conducting site visits, preparing technical proposals and cost estimates, and presenting solutions that align with project requirements and regulatory standards. The Sales Engineer collaborates closely with engineering, installation, and service teams based out of our Greensboro office to ensure smooth project delivery and post-sale technical support. This position also involves maintaining accurate records in the CRM system, monitoring market trends, and participating in industry events to strengthen customer relationships and drive business growth.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Sales Engineering and technical solution design skills, with the ability to translate customer requirements into practical boiler and industrial system proposals.
- Candidates should possess solid Technical Support capabilities, including troubleshooting, system performance evaluation, and assisting customers and internal teams with technical issues.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, both written and verbal, to clearly explain complex concepts, deliver presentations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Candidates should possess proven Sales experience, including lead generation, pipeline management, negotiation, and closing deals in an industrial or technical environment.
- Candidates should possess strong Customer Service skills, demonstrating responsiveness, professionalism, and a commitment to building long-term client partnerships.
- Relevant qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in engineering, technical management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in industrial systems or HVAC/boiler applications.
