PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
About the role
BOHOBOCO • PERFUME is looking for a Product Development Manager responsible for leading and developing the brand’s product portfolio, from existing products and production processes to new product directions, launches, and long-term market performance. This is a hands-on, analytical, and decision-making role for someone who can connect artistic vision with product strategy, production feasibility, market needs, quality standards, and commercial potential. The Product Manager leads products from idea to launch and long-term market life, ensuring that every product has a clear purpose, strong execution, well-managed production, and a meaningful place within the universe of an artistic niche perfume house. This role works closely with the Founder and Creative Director, translating the brand vision into structured product actions aligned with BOHOBOCO DNA, aesthetics, storytelling, quality, and artistic niche positioning.
Job description
• Manage and develop the current product portfolio, including product performance, availability, stock levels, market life, priorities, and future potential
• Analyze sales results, customer response, competitor activity, market behavior, and trends across fragrance, beauty, lifestyle, home, fashion, luxury, and design
• Define and develop new product directions, portfolio extensions, formats, sets, limited editions, home fragrance products, lifestyle objects, accessories, and future collections
• Lead product development from idea, concept, and business rationale through testing, production preparation, launch, and post-launch evaluation
• Build and manage product roadmaps, launch calendars, production timelines, development priorities, documentation, trackers, and implementation systems
• Manage the product and production flow, from semi-finished goods, components, packaging materials, and finished products to quality, quantities, deadlines, risks, and availability
• Build and expand the production network, including fragrance houses, manufacturers, factories, packaging partners, suppliers, materials, technologies, and new production solutions
• Support decisions related to pricing, assortment, product positioning, product architecture, production priorities, and commercial potential, ensuring that every product remains aligned with the brand’s creative vision, storytelling, visual standards, quality expectations, and artistic niche identity
Key competencies
• Experience in product management, product development, portfolio management, production coordination, or product operations, preferably within fragrance, beauty, lifestyle, home, fashion, luxury, or design
• Strong understanding of product lifecycle, production processes, semi-finished goods, components, packaging, finished products, suppliers, quality standards, and launch preparation
• Practical experience with product data, stock levels, production trackers, quantity reports, supplier files, Excel, and project or operational systems
• Analytical mindset and confidence working with product performance, market trends, customer behavior, competitor activity, and production feasibility
• Good understanding of suppliers, manufacturers, factories, packaging partners, materials, technologies, and production solutions
• Strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution, structure, accuracy, and accountability for results
• Strong organizational skills and comfort managing multiple product processes, production timelines, suppliers, deadlines, and priorities at the same time
• High aesthetic sensitivity and understanding of brands built on artistic vision, creative DNA, storytelling, quality, product experience, and long-term value
• Independence, decisiveness, ownership mindset, and the ability to bring order into a growing product and production environment
• Genuine interest in fragrance, beauty, lifestyle, home, fashion, and artistic premium brand culture
• Fluent English required
