In this role, you’ll be deeply involved in all aspects of site design, grading, utilities, stormwater management, and permitting, while helping ensure design quality, constructability, and compliance. - Design and review grading, drainage, and utility plans for complex sites.
- Conduct zoning research and site feasibility analyses.
- Support project coordination with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
- Review design deliverables for accuracy, quality, and compliance.
- Collaborate with and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and designers.
- Perform hydrology, stormwater, and earthwork calculations using AutoCAD Civil 3D and design software.
- Contribute to project budgeting, workload planning, and task coordination.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering (or related discipline).
- 5 years of experience in land development design and permitting.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and related engineering software.
- Knowledge of local zoning, permitting, and construction requirements.
- Detail-oriented approach with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- PE license beneficial; EIT required or in progress.
