Responsibilities
- Perform routine landscape maintenance including mowing, edging, pruning, and planting to keep grounds attractive and healthy
- Operate power tools such as trimmers, blowers, and lawnmowers safely and efficiently
- Maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues promptly
- Use hand tools for planting, soil preparation, and minor repairs around the venue grounds
- Conduct regular inspections of the grounds to identify areas needing attention or repair (both indoor/outdoor)
- Assist with seasonal landscaping projects
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained, cleaned, and stored after use for safety and longevity
Qualifications
- Prior experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of lawn care techniques, and landscaping practices
- Ability to operate power tools and hand tools safely with proper technique
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to groundskeeping tasks
- Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions including standing, bending, lifting, and walking for extended periods
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward maintaining a clean and safe environment
