Summary:
We are seeking a full-time Attorney with at least three years of experience to join our in-person team in Scottsdale, Arizona. This position focuses on representing licensed healthcare professionals in matters involving state regulatory boards, including the Board of Nursing, Board of Pharmacy, and Medical Board.
The ideal candidate will have a background in administrative law, disability law, Social Security law, or other practice areas involving structured, process-driven systems. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a detail-oriented legal environment and is comfortable advocating for clients navigating complex regulatory frameworks.
Responsibilities:
- Represent licensed healthcare and other professionals before regulatory boards such as the Board of Nursing, Board of Pharmacy, and Medical Board
- Prepare responses to board complaints and monitor ongoing investigations and disciplinary actions
- Advise clients through administrative hearings, compliance processes, and license reinstatement procedures
- Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, pleadings, and correspondence
- Track deadlines, manage documentation, and ensure compliance with administrative rules and regulations
- Collaborate with other attorneys and staff on complex regulatory and healthcare law matters
- Stay current on policy and regulatory changes affecting licensed professionals
Qualifications and Skills:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of Arizona (required)
- Minimum of 3 years of legal experience in administrative law, disability law, Social Security law, or a related practice area (REQUIRED)
- Demonstrated experience working with state agencies, regulatory bodies, or licensing boards
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and case management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal research tools
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
Pay:
Competitive – Estimated range of $140,000-$250,000, depending on years and work experience and billable hours

Schedule:
Full-time, 40 hours per week. Some work outside of business hours may be required. One day of remote work is allowed, following 90-day new hire period.
