Summary:
We have an immediate opening for a Lead Paralegal. This position will provide both hands-on legal support and team leadership for our staff. The ideal candidate will have strong experience as a paralegal in a law firm setting and proven success managing or mentoring legal support teams. This role will involve supervising workflow, supporting attorneys with case preparation, and helping to improve systems and processes across the legal support function. Responsibilities and Duties:
- Directly support the legal and administrative needs of 2-3 attorneys, including email monitoring, calendaring, drafting legal documents, etc.
- Supervise, mentor, and support two legal assistant, step in for support and coverage as needed
- Coordinate case management processes and ensure timely completion of legal tasks
- Develop and maintain paralegal procedures to ensure consistency and quality of work product
- Conduct training and onboarding for new paralegal and legal assistant staff
- Monitor deadlines and ensure compliance with legal and procedural requirements
- Track workload distribution and assist with project assignments and capacity planning
- Oversee document organization and file management in legal software systems
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 5 years of paralegal experience in a law firm setting (required)
- Experience managing or supervising other employees (required)
- Paralegal certificate (preferred)
- Experience billing time by 6-minute increments (required) and experience with Clio (preferred)
- Litigation experience and/or experience working with state regulatory boards (preferred)
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with attorneys and staff
Pay: $70,000–$95,000 DOE (this is a full-time exempt position)

Schedule:
In-person, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in Scottsdale, AZ. Some work and monitoring email will be required outside of business hours.
