What are the responsibilities and job description for the Spa Receptionist — Part Time position at Bodylogic Spa?
We're a busy, locally owned massage and skincare spa on the East End of Long Beach, and we're looking for a warm, organized, and dependable person to join our front desk team — for real, not just for the summer.
This is a part-time position with consistent shifts, and we're looking for someone who wants to grow with us. College students are welcome to apply as long as you're in it for the long haul, so are we.
You're a fit if you:
- Are friendly, professional, and genuinely enjoy working with people
- Communicate well in person, on the phone, and by text
- Are computer savvy and pick up new software quickly
- Are available 3–4 shifts per week, including some evenings and weekends
- Have some experience in spa, wellness, or hospitality — or a strong desire to learn
You'll be responsible for:
- Welcoming guests and setting the tone for their visit
- Booking, changing, and canceling appointments accurately
- Handling check-in, checkout, and payment
- Supporting retail and product recommendations
- Opening and closing the spa as needed
- Keeping the desk, supplies, and back-of-house running smoothly
We're close to the Loop Parkway and a short walk from the LIRR — easy to get to from most of Long Island.
