Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy tailored to individual client needs
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand specific concerns, medical history, and treatment goals
- Apply knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to develop effective treatment plans
- Educate clients on self-care practices and occupational health strategies to maintain long-term benefits
- Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, patient progress, and any relevant observations
- Ensure a safe, comfortable environment that adheres to health and safety standards
- Communicate clearly with clients about treatment procedures, expectations, and post-treatment care
Qualifications
- Valid massage therapy license or certification as required by local regulations
- Proven experience in patient service with excellent customer service skills
- Expertise in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques
- Strong knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology
