Experience with Florida and New York federal and state courts is strongly preferred.

2.0 Core Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Paralegal Duties:
- Assist attorneys in all stages of litigation matters.
- Prepare, organize, and file documents with electronic filing systems (e.g., pleadings, motions, letters) with high attention to detail.
- Prepare materials and exhibits for depositions, mediations, and trials.
- Perform relevant search queries and documentation review during the discovery process.
- Perform administrative duties related to case management, such as calendaring hearings and proactively managing deadlines, organizing case files, and managing logistics.
- Administrative Support:
- Manage attorney calendars, schedule meetings, and organize travel.
- Perform other nonbillable administrative duties as assigned.
- Maintain positive relations with clients and co-workers.
- Handle highly sensitive information with discretion.
- Work overtime as necessary to ensure all tasks are completed and deadlines are met.
- Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate required.
- At least 1-2 years of hands-on experience as a litigation paralegal required.
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and Adobe Pro required.
- Experience with diligent tracking and billing of time (experience with any legal billing software is acceptable; the firm uses Clio).
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work in high-pressure environments; ability to shift priorities quickly without compromising deadlines or quality.
- Ability to be proactive and to identify and address problems quickly.
- Excellent clerical skills and knowledge of grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Ability to perform all essential duties and work overtime as needed.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Federal and State level litigation in New York and Florida preferred.
