Boca Grande Club, a private luxury beach club on Gasparilla Island, is seeking a dependable, skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. We’re looking for someone who knows their way around a professional kitchen, works well under pressure, and takes pride in quality food. This is a great opportunity for steady, full-time hours at a beautiful, prestigious island location.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items to order, following recipes and presentation standards
- Maintain a clean, organized station and follow proper food safety and sanitation practices
- Work efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining quality
- Collaborate with the rest of the kitchen team to ensure smooth service
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely
Qualifications:
- 3 to 5 years of line cook experience preferred
- Strong knife skills and comfort working a hot line
- Ability to stay calm and focused during rushes
- Full-time availability, including weekends, nights, and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to pass a background and drug screening
