Duties
- Prepare, cook, and present a variety of menu items with precision and flair, adhering to recipes and quality standards
- Assist in menu planning by providing input on dish execution and ingredient needs
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations
- Handle food with care, following proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination
- Support food service operations by assisting with plating, garnishing, and timely delivery of orders
- Participate in catering events or special meal preparations as needed to meet guest expectations
- Use knife skills effectively for chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients to streamline kitchen workflow
Requirements
- Prior experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is highly desirable
- Proven kitchen experience in a restaurant or food service environment
