Monday - Friday dayshift. No required weekends!
$20 - 35/hour, based on experience
*NOTE* - Pay is dependent on experience and education, with the top range reflecting someone who has had 5 years experience holding a position of similar title, duties, and within the heavy equipment industry.
Duties
- Perform diagnostics and repairs on Bobcat equipment and attachments.
- Repair all assigned units correctly, safely and efficiently.
- Clean repaired units prior to moving them to the outbound area for delivery.
- Perform many tasks on the computer including; parts look up, service solutions, manufacturer diagnostics, work order entry, etc.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Clean up work areas as often as needed, either after each work order or at minimum once per week
- Set up new equipment
- Account for all time worked and time billed
- Clock in and out of work orders to track efficiency and productivity.
- Accurately document all work performed on each unit of the work order for invoicing. This includes capturing all product information including model number, serial number, hours on unit (if applicable), and any other required information for proper filing of warranty claims.
- Utilize same process to track unapplied time and training
- Attend training as required by dealership and product manufacturers
Qualifications
- Mechanical Knowledge/Experience: 1-5 years (preferred)
- Heavy equipment and/or agricultural experience is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- 2 year technical school graduate preferred
- Creative problem solver
- Good computer and systems knowledge
- Positive outlook and excellent communication, both verbal and written
- Must be a team player with a strong sense of commitment to the customer and service team
- Must have an inventory of hand tools to facilitate assigned repairs
Physical Requirements
- Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate and work on construction equipment
- Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling 50 - 100 pounds and/or frequently lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling 20-50 pounds and/or continuous lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling 10-20 pounds
- Regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, grasp or pull and lift objects
- Occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, kneel, stoop, crouch and crawl
- Consistently exposed to outside weather conditions, fumes and loud noise
Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
