In this lively role, you’ll serve delicious ice cream treats, operate a touch screen menu, input orders and process cash and credit card transactions while ensuring every visitor leaves with a smile. Your energy and attention to detail will help maintain a fun, fast-paced environment that keeps customers coming back for more. Whether scooping up sweet delights or handling transactions with precision, you’ll be a key part of our dynamic food service team.

This position receives a TIP share. This is included in the estimated hourly pay listed.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting their favorite ice cream flavors and toppings.
• Prepare and serve ice cream cones, sundaes, floats, and other frozen treats following established recipes and presentation standards.
• Operate our easy to learn order taking system and process sales accurately and efficiently.
• Handle cash transactions, give correct change, and manage cash handling procedures with integrity.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including counters, scooping stations, and dining spaces in accordance with food safety standards.
• Upsell additional items like toppings or specialty desserts to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
• Assist with food preparation tasks such as portioning ingredients or restocking supplies during busy periods.
• Support food industry best practices by practicing proper food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols at all times.
• Cleaning workstation including surfaces, floors, trash, indoor and outdoor seating areas, dishes and other tasks as necessary.

Requirements

No Experience Necessary - We Will Train You!

Pay Range Depends on Experience

• Previous experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or retail environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests.
• Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations quickly.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques.
• Capable of standing for extended periods while maintaining a lively and energetic attitude.
• Basic kitchen experience or culinary background is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours while maintaining quality service. Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
