Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. A background in food safety, food handling, and retail math will support your success in this role.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences
- Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order entry, billing, and cash handling
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations efficiently through effective time management skills
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety standards
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during shifts
- Handle cash transactions accurately using retail math skills
- Assist with catering events, banquets, or special functions as required
- Uphold responsible beverage service policies and check IDs to verify legal drinking age
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service during busy periods
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and sales transactions
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the venue’s schedule
- Previous experience in catering or banquet settings is advantageous
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
