Bartender

Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, a solid understanding of food and beverage operations, and experience in fast-paced environments such as fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings. This role involves preparing and serving beverages, engaging with guests, and ensuring a memorable experience for all patrons. Knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS is preferred to facilitate efficient order processing and sales transactions. A background in food safety, food handling, and retail math will support your success in this role.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences
• Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order entry, billing, and cash handling
• Manage multiple tables or bar stations efficiently through effective time management skills
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety standards
• Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during shifts
• Handle cash transactions accurately using retail math skills
• Assist with catering events, banquets, or special functions as required
• Uphold responsible beverage service policies and check IDs to verify legal drinking age
• Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service during busy periods

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and sales transactions
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the venue’s schedule
• Previous experience in catering or banquet settings is advantageous
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
