This is a temporary independent contracting position for 40 hours a week.

The Recruiter builds relationships with talent and hiring managers to attract qualified candidates from diverse communities.
Key Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
- Establishes relationships with community groups and associations, including attending job fairs, attending training and conferences, local meetups, etc.
- Fosters relationships with agencies for temporary and temporary-to-hire positions.
- Builds relationships with talent while explaining the opportunities at Bob’s Red Mill.
- Collaborates with hiring managers to learn the skills and abilities needed to support team goals.
- Creates recruiting materials including job descriptions, pre-screening questions, and interview questions to attract the candidates most well equipped to meet the organization’s needs.
- Maintains candidate enthusiasm throughout the recruitment process while assessing qualifications.
- Supports employees with updating and revising resumes and practicing interviewing to prepare them for internal job openings.
- Incorporates company values into the processes, communications, and recruitment materials.
- Consistently maintains confidentiality.
- Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.
- This position will report to the Senior Employee Experience Manager.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to research using resources and vendors to give guidance to HR around legal topics
- Knowledge of US and OR employment law.
- Demonstrated ability to manage conflict with all levels of employees.
- Knowledge of HR trends and best practices and ability to share knowledge.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Adaptability to changing priorities.
- Demonstrated communication skills utilized to provide excellent customer service.
- Proven ability to collaborate on cross-functional projects and teams.
- Adept at finding simple solutions to complex problems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Possess strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or equivalent preferred.
- 2-4 years of recruiting experience or equivalent required.
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred.
- Position requires the ability to sit for up to approximately two hours at a time and retrieve information and documents from department staff within and outside the office area.
- May be required to lift items weighing up to 25 pounds.
- The primary work environment for this position is within an office setting. There are no adverse conditions associated with this position.
- On-site work is required 2-3 days per week unless proactively agreed upon for a temporary period.
This is a temporary contractor position for a 4-6 month assignment.
