Bob Ross Buick GMC is looking for a highly organized and customer-focused Service Department Scheduler to join our growing team. This position plays a key role in keeping our service department running efficiently by scheduling customer appointments, coordinating with advisors and technicians, and delivering an exceptional customer experience from start to finish.
We are searching for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates professionally, and can multitask while maintaining attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Schedule service appointments by phone, online, and in person
- Confirm upcoming appointments and follow up with customers as needed
- Coordinate scheduling flow with Service Advisors and management
- Assist in managing daily shop capacity and technician availability
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding appointment times and service expectations
- Maintain accurate customer and vehicle information
- Assist with inbound service calls and customer inquiries
- Help create a positive and welcoming experience for every customer
- Support the service team with administrative and operational tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Previous customer service, receptionist, call center, or dealership experience preferred
- Reynolds and Reynolds experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Basic computer and phone skills required
- Experience with dealership software or scheduling systems is a plus
- Dependable with strong attendance and work ethic
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work well with others
