What are the responsibilities and job description for the Recruiting Coordinator position at Bob Mills Furniture?
We're looking for a detail-oriented, people-focused Recruiting Coordinator to support our talent acquisition team. In this role, you'll be the operational backbone of the hiring process — keeping candidates informed, interviews on schedule, and our hiring team organized every step of the way. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their HR/recruiting career who wants hands-on experience across the full recruiting cycle.
What You'll Do
- Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers, managing calendars across multiple stakeholders
- Post job openings across job boards, career sites, and social platforms
- Screen incoming resumes and applications for basic qualifications
- Serve as a point of contact for candidates, providing positive and professional experience from application through offer
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Coordinate logistics for interviews (in-person, phone, or video), including sending confirmations and reminders
- Assist with onboarding paperwork and new-hire coordination
- Support recruiters and hiring managers with reporting, tracking open requisitions, and identifying process bottlenecks
- Help organize recruiting events such as career fairs, campus recruiting, or hiring events
Qualifications:
What We're Looking For
- 0–2 years of experience in recruiting, HR, administrative support, or customer service (internships count!)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple schedules and priorities at once
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable using or learning an ATS and standard office software (Outlook/Google Calendar, Excel/Sheets)
- A professional, friendly demeanor — you're often the candidate's first impression of the company
- High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with job boards (Indeed, LinkedIn, ZipRecruiter)
- Interest in pursuing a long-term career in HR or Talent Acquisition
Salary : $50,000 - $55,000
