What are the responsibilities and job description for the Davis Field House Assistant (Student) position at Bob Jones University?
SUMMARY: DFH employees assist the Bruin Athletic department with the day-to-day operations of the Davis Field House, Athletic Fields, Fremont Fitness Center, and Women’s Fitness Center.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitor certain areas of the Davis Field House, such as the Fremont Fitness Center, Women’s Fitness Center, and Indoor Track
- Assist in staffing Bruin’s athletic events
- Facilitate with intramurals, outdoor maintenance, and special events (as needed)
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Must be enrolled as a student at Bob Jones University
- Communication Skills
- Dependability
- Punctuality
- Basic knowledge of athletics
- Must (occasionally) lift/carry and/or push/pull up to 100 lbs.
