What are the responsibilities and job description for the BJA Middle/High School Substitute Teacher (Temporary) position at Bob Jones Academy?
POSITION SUMMARY: Provide student instruction from a Christian worldview for various high school or middle school positions, fulfill assigned duties, and perform service duties as needed within the school. This position is on an "as needed" basis.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Teach assigned courses
- Supervise students during structured activities
- Maintain grades (long-term subbing)
- Attend chapel/faculty meetings (long-term subbing)
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Excellent communication skills
- Flexibility to work on a short notice
- Professional in appearance and presentation
- Effective in oral and written communication
