What You'll Do
Diagnostics & Repair
- Diagnose and repair outboard engines, inboard systems, and marine components
- Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and major mechanical repairs
- Conduct inspections, testing, and sea trials to ensure quality workmanship
Rigging & Installation
- Complete engine installations, repowers, and OEM rigging
- Install controls, steering systems, electronics, trolling motors, and marine accessories
- Perform electrical, mechanical, and performance upgrades to manufacturer standards
Service Department Support
- Communicate repair recommendations with Service Advisors
- Maintain accurate repair documentation and labor operations
- Keep a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Identify additional repair or maintenance opportunities that improve customer satisfaction
Requirements
What We're Looking For
- 5 years of marine technician experience (dealership experience preferred)
- Mercury, Yamaha, Suzuki, Honda, or MerCruiser certifications strongly preferred
- MMI graduates encouraged to apply
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
- Experience with mechanical, electrical, and rigging systems
- Productive, dependable, and detail-oriented
- Team-oriented with a positive, growth-focused attitude
- Valid driver's license required

Schedule
- Full-time position
- Monday through Saturday
- Sundays always off
- One weekday off
